Mike Holloway, Florida: 2022 NCAA Division I Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Coach of the Year

Mike Holloway was named the National Men’s Coach of the Year for the 2022 NCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field season. Holloway, in his 20th year at Florida, led the Gators to a national team title at the NCAA DI Outdoor Championships with 54 points. All of Florida’s points were scored in the sprints and relays, led by national champions in the 100, 200 and 4×400 relay and runner-up finishes in the 400 and 4×100 relay. Florida placed fourth at the SEC Outdoor Championships and won three event titles earlier in the season.The Gators finished the year with 13 First-Team All-Americans, two Second-Team All-Americans and three school records, including a collegiate record in the 4×400 relay.
