2021 NCAA DIII Women's Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index – Week 2
NEW ORLEANS – There were some major changes between Week 1 and Week 2 of the NCAA Division III Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index!
Let’s go ahead and check out what transpired when the most recent National TFRI was released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

George Fox and UW-La Crosse remained the respective No. 1 and No. 2 teams for the second week in a row. The Bruins added or improved two national top-10 marks to their ledger this past weekend (Emily Rohrer’s No. 4 time in the 100 of 12.15 was the big one), while the Eagles bettered six of their own marks (Skye Digman is No. 3 in the discus at 45.30m (148-8); Savannah Rygiewicz is No. 3 in the 100 at 12.14w for the notable achievements).
Ithaca jumped five spots from No. 8 to No. 3 thanks to its efforts at the Rochester-Ithaca-RIT Triangular. The Bombers hold seven national top-10 marks, including four that they amassed this past weekend: Logan Bruce is No. 1 in the long jump at 5.73m (18-9¾) and No. 9 in the 100H at 14.93; Parley Hannan is No. 1 in the 1500 at 4:28.68 to go along with her No. 1 billing in the 5000; Katelyn Hutchinson is No. 2 in the 400 at 57.34; Samantha Healy is No. 8 in the weight throw at 50.43m (165-6).
Johns Hopkins opened its season and soared into the top-5 at No. 4. The Blue Jays tallied eight national top-10 marks this past weekend, including the No. 2 mark in both the 1500 (Ella Baran, 4:33.58) and 5000 (Alex Ross, 17:11.35) as well as the No. 3 mark in the 800 (Ariel Keklak, 2:14.64).
Washington (Mo.) fell two spots from No. 3 to No. 5 to no fault of its own. Eka Jose paced the Bears once again as she improved her No. 3 standing in the triple jump to 11.82m (38-9½).
Here are the rest of the top-10 teams in Week 2: No. 6 Loras, No. 7 Nebraska Wesleyan, No. 8 Mount Union, No. 9 Pacific Lutheran and No. 10 John Carroll.
The 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships are set to be held from May 27-29 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
