NAIA Indoor T&F National Athletes of the Week (Feb. 10)

The NAIA National Office announced its fourth National Athletes of the Week selections for the 2021 indoor track & field season on Wednesday morning.
Corey Lyons of Saint Mary (Kan.) was named National Men’s Track Athlete of the Week after winning the 400 at the Bearcat Invitational and setting a new program record of 47.21.
Brayden Wells of Friends (Kan.) was named National Men’s Field Athlete of the Week after winning the weight throw at the Thresher Invitational with a program-record heave of 19.07m (62-6).
Emma Wilson of Huntington (Ind.) was named the National Women’s Track Athlete of the Week after winning the 3000 at the IWU Midwest Classic and helping the Foresters’ DMR squad to a first-place finish as well.
Kylin Nichols of Indiana Tech was named the National Women’s Field Athlete of the Week after setting a program record in the pentathlon with 3468 points at the Saints Challenge. She also set PRs in the high jump and the long jump.
