2021 NCAA DIII Women's Indoor Track & Field Rating Index – Week 5
NEW ORLEANS – A busy weekend shook up the most recent installment of the NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index that was released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Only three of the top-25 teams remained in place between Week 4 and Week 5 – No. 1 UW-La Crosse, No. 3 Wartburg and No. 25 Concordia Moorhead – but other than that, there was some notable movement by teams as the season hits the final two weeks.

NOTE: In lieu of the canceled NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, Wartburg College has created the DIII Elite Championships. Invited to compete on March 12-13 will be the regular season’s top-16 individuals and top-12 relays, as verified by TFRRS Descending Order List.
UW-La Crosse held steady thanks to adding or bolstering a number of national top-10 marks on its ledger. The Eagles are now ranked among the top-10 in nine events, including among the top-3 from Savannah Rygiewicz in the 60 (No. 3, 7.80), Emma Lawrence in the 60H (No. 3, 8.92) and Abby Meidl in the pole vault (No. 2, 3.52m/11-6½).
Loras jumped two spots from No. 4 to No. 2 following some big efforts this past weekend. Alyssa Pfadenhauer and Kassie Rosenbum led the way for the Duhawks. Pfadenhauer took over the national lead in the 400 at 57.74c (58.50) and led off the top-ranked 4×400 relay squad, while Rosebum added a national lead in the 5000 (16:43.14c/16:50.82) to go along with her previous top billing in the mile and No. 2 spot in the 3000.
UW-Oskhosh is now ranked fifth, right behind the aforementioned Knights and No. 4 John Carroll, after improving five national top-10 marks. Three of those reside in the top-5 with Zanzie Demco sitting second in the 800 at 2:14.04c (2:15.58), the DMR sitting fourth at 12:30.37 (12:38.41) and Sydney Thompson now fourth in the weight at 16.90m (55-5½).
