2021 NCAA DIII Women's Indoor Track & Field Rating Index – Week 6

The most recent installment of the NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index, released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), nearly went through a wholesale alteration. Top-ranked UW-La Crosse was the only program that remained in place between Week 5 and Week 6 in the top-25.

NOTE: In lieu of the canceled NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, Wartburg College has created the DIII Elite Championships. Invited to compete on March 12-13 will be the regular season’s top-16 individuals and top-12 relays, as verified by TFRRS Descending Order List.
UW-La Crosse actually strengthened its hold on top of the National Rating Index thanks to some big efforts this past weekend. The Eagles added or improved eight national top-10 marks, which includes a national leader from Emma Lawrence in the 60H (8.76). Three of those top-10 marks came from their pentathletes, where Amanda Wiebke (No. 3, 3563), Hannah Zenkovich (No. 4, 3543) and Skylar White (No. 8, 3172) all starred in their own right.
UW-Eau Claire jumped six spots from No. 8 to No. 2 following a big weekend. None proved to be a bigger help to the Blugolds than Megan Wallace’s all-time effort in the pentathlon. Wallace scored 3775 points to not only take over the national lead, but also become the fourth-best performer with the fifth-best performance in NCAA DIII history.
Loras dropped one spot to No. 3, while UW-Oshkosh and John Carroll swapped spots. The now fourth-ranked Titans have two top-ranked athletes on their roster: Emma Warr in the pole vault at 3.70m (12-1½); Sydney Thompson in the shot put at 14.01m (45-11¾). The now fifth-ranked Blue Streaks saw Maria DeLuca move up to No. 5 on the Descending Order List in the triple jump with her 11.52m (37-9½) effort.
