Arkansas continued to hold down the No. 1 spot for the third week in a row, followed by No. 2 Texas A&M, No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 Texas and No. 5 Southern California. The Razorbacks, Aggies, and Bulldogs have each held their respective rankings in all three editions of the National TFRI this season.
The second-ranked Aggies were able to bolster their position by picking up the top-2 spots in the 400: Athing Mu is ranked No. 1 (50.52) with Charokee Young right behind at No. 2 (51.93). Out of the 11 top-10 national marks Texas A&M holds, nine of them sit within the top-5 in their respective event.
Texas traded places with Southern California from a week ago. The fourth-ranked Longhorns earned a boost in their rankings with a pair of 60-meter performances from Julien Alfred (No. 2, 7.15) and Kynnedy Flannel (No. 6, 7.23). Texas also clocked the sixth-best 4×400 of the year (3:35.84).
