Jasmine Moore, Florida: 2022 NCAA Division I Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year

Jasmine Moore was named the NCAA Division I Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Moore, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.42, swept the horizontal jumps at the 2022 NCAA DI Indoor Track & Field Championships. An impressive feat in itself, but Moore wasn’t done there as she bettered her own collegiate record in the triple jump with a leap of 14.57m (47-9¾). This is the first time that an athlete from Florida has been named National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year for the indoor season. It is the seventh year in a row that an athlete from the SEC earned this honor.
